Stephen King fans, Rejoice! More Stephen King is making its way to the silver screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Boone has been tapped to write the adaptation of The 'Talisman', the 1984 fantasy novel King co-wrote with Peter Straub.

The novel tells the story of Jack Sawyer, a young boy who must travel from New Hampshire to California to save his mother, who is dying of cancer.

Along the way, he learns of an alternate universe known as The Territories, where "twinners" (alternate versions of people from our own world) live. Jack must travel through both the U.S. and the Territories to find an object known as the Talisman, which he believes will save his mother's life.

Frank Marshall is producing the pic, and Michael Wright is executive producing.

Boone previously directed 'The Fault in Our Stars', and has 'X-Men' spinoff New Mutants due out 13 April, 2018.
