Aritz Aduriz of Athletic Bilbao is a cult hero for the supporters of his team. Having spent most of his career with Bilbao, he has scored over 100 goals for them, although being capped for Spain just once - in a Euro 2012 qualifier in 2010.

But he couldn't have scored a better, or more important goal for Bilbao than the one he scored on Thursday night at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille in the Europa League round of 32. With Bilbao looking to gain an advantage in the first leg hoping to score a crucial away goal, Aduriz did this:
