Manchester United's 22-year old midfielder Jesse Lingard has been called up to the England squad for the country's international friendly game against France at London's Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, 17 November.
The youngster received his first ever international call-up following injuries to Michael Carrick and Jamie Vardy. Lingard has recently prominently featured in the United first team, and helped the club to victories over CSKA Moscow and West Brom, with an assist and a goal to his name in the two games.
The Manchester United youth product has previously featured in the England U17 and the England U21 teams. He has been with United since the age of 7, having joined the youth ranks of the club in 2000.
