Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City have made two more signings ahead of the second edition of the Indian Super League, a press release confirmed on 13 July. The two signings are Spanish midfielder Juan Aguilera Nunez and former Celtic centre-back Darren O'Dea, who have signed short-term contracts with the club. Nunez comes with the experience of having played for several lower league clubs in Spain, while O'Dea is a former Scottish champion with Celtic. The latter has also played for other renowned English clubs like Reading, Ipswich, Leeds, etc.

Juan Aguilera Nunez

Having started his career with the B side of Madrid-based Getafe CF, Nunez first made his name at third tier Spanish club Leganes. In 2008, he moved to Real Murcia, and played with its B team for nearly two seasons. His performances with the side earned him a spot in Murcia's first team, whom he helped earn promotion to the Spanish second division in 2010-11.

Darren O'Dea

O'Dea started his career with Dublin-based club Home Farm, before moving to Scottish giants Celtic as a teenager. In the 2006-07 season, O'Dea played a notable role in Celtic's Scottish Premier League win. He also won the Scottish Cup with the club in the same season, and was part of squad that successfully defended the league title the next season.
