Delhi: No relief in national capital, heatwaves to hit parts of city

It was a warm morning in the national capital on Thursday with the temperature settling at 29 degrees Celsius. The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky for the day.

However, isolated pockets of the national capital are likely to witness heat wave conditions during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 43 degrees Celsius, a Meteorological Department official said.


Relative humidity was 44 per cent at 8.30 am, the official added. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in the city was 41.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius.
