American metal band System Of A Down returns; live concert in United States after 3 Years

Heavy metal band System of a Down has finally announced there five North American tour dates. Yes, you read it right. The band will be performing live after three years of gap. Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA, in which bands like Alice In Chains, At the Drive-In, Incubus, 311, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Korn singer Jonathan Davis, Underoath, GWAR, Monster Magnet will feature.

A five-date tour which will be starting from October 13th in San Bernardino, California till October 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The band hasn’t released any new album since the year 2005’s Mezmerize/Hypnotize. They were broken up for about four years before reuniting in 2010. Fans are expecting to see a new record this year.

October 14, 2018  – Sacramento, CA – Aftershock Festival

October 16, 2018  – Phoenix, AZ – Talking Stick Resort Arena

October 17, 2018  – San Diego, CA – Valley View Casino Center

October 19, 2018  – Las Vegas, NV – T-Mobile Arena

Serj Tankian, the frontman of the band revealed why System of a Down has yet to make a new album since reuniting in 2011 in a December 2017 Rolling Stone interview.

“We’ve discussed it and we’ve played each other songs, but we still haven’t come eye to eye on how things should be done for us to be able to move forward with it,” he said. “And that’s where it’s been.”
