UPTET Results 2018: UPBEB releases upper primary results; result link to activate from today onwards

The final results for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2018 have been announced by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) on its official website. Therefore, candidates who had appeared for the UPTET 2018 exam can check their results from today (12th December) on the official website.

According to the notification, the results for the upper primary level has been released on Tuesday (11th December 2018), therefore, aspirants can check their final results on the official website at upbasiceduboard.gov.in.


This year, the total of 5,69,515 candidates have appeared for the second shift examination held on 18th November and out of the total around 1,88,646 (33.12 per cent) candidates have passed the examination, TOI reported.

Around 612930 admit cards have been released by the UPBEB for the UPTET exam 2018.

Earlier, the results for the UPTET upper primary level exam was to released on 8th December, along with the primary level results.

But due to the administrative reasons to recruit 69,000 primary level teachers, the results were declared on 4th December late night. Moreover, the upper primary results were also postponed, which have been released last night.

Therefore, candidates can now check their results only at the official website from today.

Earlier, the UPTET exam 2018 was held on 18th November in two different shifts.

Around 17,83,716 candidates had to appear for the exam in two different shifts but only 16,73,126 candidates appeared for the exam as 1,10,590 candidates were absent.

Here's how to download UPTET Result 2018:

1. Open the official website of UPTET at www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
2. Click on the link which shows the UPTET Result 2018
3. Submit your details like registration number and password
4. Click on submit
5. Your result will appear on the official page
6. Download your result
7. Take a printout, if required

For the upper primary level exam, there was a total of 6,12,930 had appeared for the exam and a total of 5,71,416 (93.22 per cent) have cleared the exam. Now, all the selected candidates would prepare for the teachers' recruitment examination which will be held in the month of January 2019.
