UPSC Results 2018: IES/ISS results announced; here’s how to check at upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission has released the results for the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination (IES/ISS) exam on its official website.

Therefore, candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results now.


As per the reports of India Today, the total number of selected candidates in the exam are:

  • Indian Economic Service: Around 14
  • Indian Statistical Service: 32

The link for the result of UPSC IES/ISS has activated now. Therefore, candidates are advised to visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in to check their results.

Earlier, UPSC has released the notification for this post of UPSC on 21st March 2018.

Candidates who have qualified the written examination was qualified for the personal interview, which was held on 12th, 13th and 14th November. However, the IES/ISS exam was held from 29th June 2018. 

UPSC has conducted the examination to fill 47 posts for IES/ISS under the recruitment drive.

To check the result, candidates will have to check the official website of UPSC.

Here’s how to check the UPSC IES/ISS Results 2018:

1. Open the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
2. Click on the link to check the result
3. The new page will open to check the results
4. Submit your details asked on the page
5. Your result will appear on the page
6. Download your UPSC IES/ISS results
7. Take a printout for future references

Note: Candidates should remember that they can check their results on the official website within fifteen days after the declaration of the result. For any discrepancy, candidates are advised to raised their objection on the official website.
