UPSC IAS Registration 2020: Waiting for Civil Services application form? Apply from this date

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon open its application window for the Civil Services exam. Therefore, candidates who want to select for the administrative positions in different All-India Services and Central Civil Services posts should get ready with their documents to apply for the positions.

Candidates who will qualify the Civil Services exam will be selected for the post of IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS. The application position will begin from February 12, 2020, and the application window will remain open till March 3, 2020 (6:00 am).


The selection for the post of UPSC IAS will be done via three stages i.e. Preliminary Exam (Objective Multiple Choice), Mains Exam (Written) and Final Interview.

UPSC IAS prelims exam 2020 is conducted for the screening of candidates for the further selection process. Civil Services exam is comprised of Paper I: General Studies and Paper – II: CSAT (Qualifying Nature).

UPSC will release the admit card for the IAS preliminary examination in the first week of May 2020 (tentative).

The entrance test for the UPSC IAS prelims exam will be held on May 31st, 2020.

Know details about UPSC IAS Registration Process:

The online application process consists of Part-I and Part-II.

In the Part I application process, candidates will have to submit their basic information. While in Part II, aspirants will have to make online payments (except for fee exempted candidates). Candidates will also select their examination centre, upload their documents like photo and signature, etc, in the second part of the application form.

After submission of the form, candidates will receive complete details about their duly filled application form on their registered email id and mobile number.
