UPSC Civil Services Result 2019: IAS prelims result to be released next month; here’s how to check

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) likely to release the Civil Services preliminary result in the month of July 2019. Candidates should keep their admit card along with them as details would be required while checking the results of UPSC Civil Services prelims exam result 2019 or UPSC CSE prelims result or UPSC IAS prelims result 2019.

According to the reports, the Commission could declare the results of the preliminary exam within 45 days of the exam.


This year, UPSC conducted the Civil Services exam on 2nd June (Sunday) across the country. The commission conducts the exam in two parts i.e. Paper I in the morning shift and Paper II in afternoon shift.

UPSC 2019 Civil Services exam surprised aspirants for being so tough. The overall level of the exam was difficult to moderate. Also, it was slightly tougher than last year exam.

Once UPSC announces the results of Civil Services 2019 preliminary examination, candidates will be able to check whether they have qualified the exam or not.

Here’s how to check UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2019:

1. Visit the official website of UPSC at www.upsc.gov.in
2. Click on the link UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2019
3. A PDF file will appear on the page
4. Check your roll number in the list
5. Download and take a printout for further reference

Candidates who would clear the UPSC Civil Services preliminary 2019 exam will allow to appear for the second stage i.e. UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2019. After cracking the Main exam, aspirants will have to go for the last and final interview round.
