UPSC Civil Services 2018 Result out! 577 men and 182 women selected for IAS, IPS, IFS posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result for civil services examination on its official website on 5th May 2019. The Commission has finalised a total of 759 candidates for the positions in the Civil Services.

Out of the total selected candidates, there are , are successfully cracked the final stage of UPSC and will get the appointment to various services like IAS, IPS, IFS etc.


Candidates who have appeared for the exam should check their result on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Here’s how to check your UPSC Civil Services 2018 Exam Result:

1. Open the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in
2. Click on the link which shows the result of UPSC Civil Services
3. Submit your details
4. Click on Ok
5. Your result will appear on the page
6. Download your result
7. Take a printout for further use

This year, the topper of UPSC Civil Services exam is a B Tech student IIT Bombay, Kanishak Kataria.

 

While the second, third and fourth position is secured by Akshat Jain, Junaid Ahmad and Shreyans Kumat respectively.

While the women candidate who cracked the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 and ranked among the toppers is Srushti Jayant Deshmukh, who secured the overall fifth rank. She is a BE (Chemical Engineering) from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
