UGC NET Admit Card 2020: Waiting for hall tickets? Important deets to know

National Testing Agency, NTA has not released any update about UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) exam yet. However, aspirants are anxiously waiting for the UGC NET exam admit card which is supposed to release today.

As per reports, NTA will conduct the UGC NET 2020 exam from September 16 to September 18, 2020, and again from September 21 to September 25, 2020, at various centres across the country.


NTA will release the UGC NET exam admit card on its official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

As per the previous trends, NTA released the admit card for the UGC NET exam at least 15 days prior to the examination. However, no official information about the UGC NET exam has been released on the official website. Therefore, students are getting worried due to the no update on hall tickets.

Some reports have suggested that NTA is expected to release the official notification about the UGC NET exam today.

Once the admit card gets released, candidates can download their hall tickets in the following manner.

Here’s how to download UGC NET Admit Card 2020:

  1. Vist the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the link which says UGC NET Admit Card 2020
  3. Submit your credentials asked on the new page
  4. Click on ok and wait for the process
  5. Your admit card will appear on the new page
  6. Download your hall tickets for the UGC NET exam
  7. Take a printout for further purpose

UGC NET Paper Pattern:

UGC NET will comprise two papers—Paper I and Paper II. The paper 1 will carry 100 marks question while paper 2 will carry 200 marks question.

Both papers will be conducted in different shifts. The first shift will begin from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
