SSC Junior Engineer Examination results announced: Here are the cut-offs

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination written test. Candidates can view their results on the official website.

SSC held an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination, 2015 - Paper - II (Conventional Type) held on 24 July, 2016 at various centers.

Cut-off for Paper II for Civil Engineering:

SC - 50

ST - 50

OBC - 60

OH - 40

HH - 40

UR - 40

About 3,211 candidates have passed the exam across the state with 467 candidates qualifying for SC, 294 for ST, 1901 for OBC, 37 for OH, 9 for HH and 503 for Unreserved Category (UR).

"In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 834 OBC, 158 SC and 125 ST, 8 OH & 1 HH candidates are also meeting the cut-off for UR category. Such candidates have been shown in their respective categories," states a notice.

About 818 candidates have passed the exam across the state with 134 candidates qualifying for SC, 84 for ST, 433 for OBC, 19 for OH, 5 for HH and 143 for Unreserved Category (UR).

"In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 232 OBC, 55 SC, 40 ST, 4O HH & 1 VH candidates are also meeting the cut-off for UR category," states a notice.

All selected candidates will have to appear for document verification. "Candidates who do not attend document verification will not be considered for final selection," states SSC.
