The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) Tier II 2016 examinations will be held from 30 November to 2 December, 2016. According to a new notification, the commission has stated that these dates are tentative and confirmed dates will be announced soon.

Re-examination for one Shift i.e. the Second Shift (Batch-II) of the CGLE Tier-I which was held at 4.15 pm - 5.30 pm on 27.08.2016. This re-`ination will be conducted only for those candidates who had actually appeared in Batch-II on 27.08.2016.The tentative date for re- examination is 27.10.2016. Further details in this regard will be intimated to the candidates separately in due course," states a notice.
Once the re-examination has been conducted, the commission will release SSC CGL result 2016 on 8 November, 2016.
This year, more than 38 lakh candidates registered for the exam, of which 14.99 lakh candidates appeared for the test.
SSC CGL Tier 2 exam test pattern
SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is a computer-based test. Shortlisted candidates have to attempt 300 questions in four hours. Candidates applying for Statistical Investigator Grade- II or Compiler need to appear for one more paper - Statistics - wherein one needs to attempt 100 questions in two hours.
