Shocking! Over 10,000 candidates get failed in this government exam of Goa

A shocking news has come to light from Goa where more than 10,000 candidates get failed in the government examination. Yes, Goa government has conducted the entrance examination for the posts of Directorate of accounts, in which the total candidates who have appeared for the examination unable to crack the exam. The result for the exam was out on Tuesday.

Reportedly, Goa government has released 80 posts for the recruitment of Directorate of accountants.


According to the reports of HT, ‘I hereby declare that no candidate who appeared for the initial recruitment examination for the post of an accountant (direct recruits) held on January 01, 2018, has secured the minimum qualifying marks necessary for passing,’ director of accounts Prakash Pereira said.

Reportedly, there was a total of 10,815 candidates have applied for the exam. The exam was conducted to fill 80 posts of accountants, of which 43 posts for the general category, 21 for the backward classes, nine for scheduled tribes, two for scheduled castes and children of freedom fighters each, while one post each was reserved for ex-servicemen and sportspersons.

However, the eligibility for the examination was the bachelor’s degree in commerce or arts with economics. Therefore, candidates belonging to this stream have appeared for the examination.

Now, the Directorate of Accounts once again readvertise the posts.
