RRB NTPC results 2016 may be released in the first week of November

It appears as though the result for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 2016 examinations will be declared in November.

No official statement has been released so far.

"This week is mostly about holidays and festivities. We're trying to release the results by next week," said a source on condition of anonymity.

The RRB NTPC examinations were held between 3 March and 5 May 2016.

As per Railway officials, the RRB NTPC Stage 2 exam 2016 could be held in November or December, this year. The results of the same will be declared in 2017.

However, with the result being delayed, the exams may be held in December or later in 2017. In the second stage exam, candidates will need to attempt 120 multiple-choice-objective questions in 90 minutes.

According to the figures provided by railway officials to Catch, 2,73,780 lakh candidates will be called for RRB NTPC stage 2 exam. A total of 18,252 vacancies were announced by the Railways Recruitment Board this year.

This year, 92 lakh candidates applied for the RRB NTPC exam, out of which 56 lakh appeared for the stage 1 exam.
