RRB JE Admit Card: Important preparation Tips and Strategy to crack RRB JE exam in first attempt

RRB JE is a great opportunity for the applicants who are seeking a job in Indian Railways. RRB JE offers handsome salary package with perks. However, the selection process involves 2 stages: 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd stage CBT, and Document Verification/ Medical Examination as applicable.

It is important for the candidates to clear the examinations. Here are the most important tips and strategy for RRB JE 2019 CBT 1st and 2nd Stage Exam Preparation to crack it in the first attempt.

RRB JE 1st Stage CBT 2019 Exam will be held from 22nd May 2019 onwards. So here are important tips for the examination. RRB Prelims examination consist of questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and Current affairs.

Mathematics: The candidates need to revise formula and solve questions on fundamental logic. Here is some important topic to be covered.

Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.

GK/ Current affairs: The General Knowledge questions are of two types: 1. Static 2. Dynamic. The 2nd type consists of miscellaneous questions from Science-- Physic, Chemistry and Biology. While in dynamic, questions from ongoing development in politics, Ministry, Business and another sector.

An important topic to be covered: Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and Constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments, etc.

Reasoning: It is the simplest and scoring section. However, it is also challenging as it needs practice.

An important topic to be covered: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.

NOTE: Candidates appearing for the examination should revise the last three examination papers for the better practice for speed and accuracy.
