RRB ALP & Technician Exam 2018: Get ready for third shift Computer Based Test of Indian Railways

Finally, the Indian Railways most awaited examination for Group C has already begun today. The online examination will remain to continue till 31st August. The dates of the RRB examination is 9th August, 10th August,13th August, 14th August, 17th August, 20th August, 21st August, 29th August, 30th August and 31st August.

However, the first shift for the computer test was held between 10:00 am to 11:00 am, the second shift began at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Now, the third shift for the exam will be held between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.


As per the examination schedule of RRB, there will be three shift for the exam on every date of the examination.

The Railway Recruitment Board has already released the admit card for the Group C on the official website in the first week of August. Candidates will have to go to the examination centre to appear for the examination. This year, candidates have to travel a long distance to appear for the examination. Due to which, a special train has been run by the Indian Railways for the RRB aspirants.

Meanwhile, in the first shift of the examination, around 74 per cent of candidates have appeared for the ALP and Technician examination.

Around 1,19,110 candidates out of 1,61,332 gave the exam at 416 centres across 160 cities of the country. The attendance is a record for all Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exams since 2015 -- both for offline as well as online tests, it said.
