Beware! These universities can spoil your career; UGC releases list of fake academic institute

Candidates who have passed their class 12th and now, planning to take admission to undergraduate courses or going for further higher studies then, there is an alert for such aspirants released by UGC.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a list of fake universities/institute on 23rd July, which is currently functioning across the country.

As per the latest notification released by UGC, ‘ 23 “self-styled, unrecognized institutions” are functioning in contravention of the UGC Act.”

Commission has also released a warning to aspirants and their parents not to take admission in these 23 universities which have not been affiliated with UGC.

In the list of fake universities, Uttar Pradesh has bagged the first position where such fraud institutes are still in operation.

As per the Commission, eight of these universities are in Uttar Pradesh, followed by Delhi (seven). Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Puducherry are also listed.
