NHM Bihar Jobs 2019: Apply for 600 CHO posts; earn upto 25,000 per month
State Health Society, National Health Mission, Bihar (NHM Bihar) invited application form for the post of Community Health Officers (CHOs) on its official website. Interested applicants should go through the official notification before applying for the posts.
As per the notification, candidates will have to complete the six-month Certificate Course in Community Health either in Ayurveda or Nursing.
Aspirants who will successfully complete the training will be selected for the post of Community Health Officers (CHOs) at the Health & Wellness Centres (H&WC’s).

Candidates who become fresh Ayurvedic Doctor or GNM or B.Sc Nursing candidates can apply for the position through the official website of State Health Society NHM Bihar.
Details about the application process:
NHM Bihar has already started the application process from June 20, 2019, from 10:00 am. While the last date to apply for the vacancy is July 4th, 2019.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance via online based exam. Candidates who score at least 30% in order to qualify the NHM Bihar Health Officer Exam.
Age Limit:
Candidates applying for the post should be in the age bracket of 21 years to 42 years.
NHM Bihar Vacancy Details Post-Wise:
- Certificate in Community Health for Ayurveda Practitioner – 400 Posts
- Certificate in Community Health for Nurses – 200 Posts
Application Fee:
- UR, BC, MBC & EWS – Rs. 500/-
- SC/ ST of Bihar domicile & Female of all categories – Rs. 250/-
Salary:
Selected candidates will get Rs. 25,000/- per month & upto a sum of Rs. 15,000/- subjected as incentive measured against indicators subject to the approval of National Health Mission, Gol.
