NEET PG 2017 exam dates out! Medical from 5 - 13 Dec; Dental from 30 Nov - 3 Dec

The dates for the NEET PG 2017 have been announced. The Medical exam is scheduled to be held from 5 to 13 December while the Dental exam will be held from 30 November to 3 December. The exams will be conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE).

Important dates for NEET PG 2017:

24 September: NBE website to go live

26 September: Commencement of the online registration process

31 September: End of registration process

30 November to 3 December: Computer-based NEET PG (Dental)

5 to 13 December: Computer-based NEET PG (Medical)

NEET PG 2017 scores will be used for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. No other examination scores will be considered for admission to Medical and Dental colleges. Up until last year, most private and deemed institutes conducted their own entrance tests for admission in postgraduate medical/dental courses.

NEET PG 2017 test centres

The NEET PG 2017 will be conducted in 86 test centres at 41 cities across the country.

NEET PG 2017 test pattern

The computer-based exams will follow the following pattern:

  • 300 MCQs for medical exam
  • 240 MCQs for dental exam
NEET PG 2017 exam syllabus

The entrance test syllabus will be from MBBS and BDS curriculum followed at medical/dental colleges in India as per the Graduate Medical/Dental Education Regulation notified by Medical Council of India(MCI).

NEET PG 2017: Application Fees

Candidates to submit the Application fees online.

Application Fee Details for general and OBC category candidates are Rs 3750 and for SC/ST is Rs. 2750.
