The National Testing Agency has given a huge relaxation to Kashmiri NEET aspirants by adding four new exam centers. As the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted on 5th May 2019 for the admission to the MBBS and BDS courses in Indian Medical and Dental colleges affiliated with the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
This year, around 9,250 candidates will be going to appear for the NEET 2019 exam that will be conducted by NTA. Therefore, to give relief to aspirants NTA has allotted four additional centers in the region, said official on Thursday.
Only 5,750 aspirants can appear in the valley and out of the total 3,500 aspirants were left remaining for the exam centers. Because of no exam centers, candidates would have to travel outside the valley.
To fulfill the need of the exam centers, the new four centers have been allotted for candidates.
According to the official, ‘four centers allotted that will accommodate the remaining 3,500 NEET aspirants and also prevent them to travel outside for the exam.’

- Gandhi Memorial College
- Kashmir University
- Green Valley School
- Kashmir Harvard School
This year, NTA will conduct the NEET exam between 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
NEET is the common platform competitve examinatoin for the admission to the MBBS/BDS course in Indian medical/dental colleges.
