Meet UPPSC PSC second topper who left 30 lakh salary package job for Civil Services Exam

To accomplish a goal one has to go the extra mile. There are only a few people who could attain success in one go. One such example we have found from Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj where a private company employee has achieved in his life what he wants.

On October 10, UPPSC has released the PCS result 2017 on its official website and Prayagraj based Anupam Mishra has secured the second rank in the toughest examination i.e. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission(UPPSC) Public Service Commission (PSC).


Let’s have look at Anupam Mishra’s journey to Deputy Collector:

Anupam Mishra, a resident of MIG 29, Naini, Pryagraj, who has secured the second rank in PSC-2017. With this achievement, Mishra has made his parents proud.

Reportedly, it was the dream of Anupam’s grandfather, late Triyugi, who wanted to see him as Deputy Collector. However, in childhood, Anupam didn’t know about the dream of his grandfather. So, he was only focused on his academics.

He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from MNNIT and then, he started a job in a Software company in America. For four years, Anupam worked there on a 15 lakh annual package. Later in 2016, he resigned from the Multinational company and started focussing on his grandpa’s dreams.

The company also offered him a package of Rs 30 lakh package which he rejected and returned to his home.

Anupam started his preparations and appeared for the first time in the Civil Services examination. Notably, he qualified for the mains exam but didn’t crack it. He didn’t stop there and appeared for PCS 2017 exam and finally qualified the exam and secured 2nd rank in the state.
