JKBOSE Class 12th Exam: Board postponed exams scheduled to be held on these dates; read details

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education or JKBOSE has postponed the Class 12th board exams which were scheduled to be held on 23rd and 26th February 2019. Therefore, students who likely to appear for these dates examination will have to wait for some more days.

On these two dates, class 12th students had to appear for Geography/ Psychology/ Geography/ Music/ Philosophy/ clothing for the family exam. Also, the new dates for the examination will be released soon on the official website of JKBOSE.


As per the notification, ‘It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that examination pertaining to Higher Secondary Part-II (Class-12th) Regular Annual Session 2019 (Summer Zone) Jammu Division, scheduled to be held on 23-02-2019 and 26-02-2019 has been postponed.’

The notification also stated that the rest of the exams that were scheduled on 1st March 2019 will be held as per the examination date sheet.

However, the reason behind the postponed of the examination is yet not revealed by the board. There were assumptions that due to the tensions prevailing in the area post-Pulwama attack or the curfew imposed in the region could be the one for examination postponed.
