Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Apply for latest vacancies released for 172 posts; read selection process details

The online application process for the same has begun from 13th May and the last date to apply for the vacancies is 26th May 2019.

According to the official notification, the two posts of Chargeman (Mechanic, Ammunition and Explosive), are classified as Group ‘B’, Non-Industrial, Non-Gazetted posts to various Naval Armament Inspectorate (NAI) units at Depots / Ordnance Factories / DRDO Labs / Quasi Military Establishments to undertake inspection / QA Activities.

Total Vacancy:

Indian Navy has invited application for 172 vacancies for the posts of Chargeman ‘(Mechanic) and Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive).

Chargeman ‘(Mechanic) vacancy:

• For General- 41 vacancy
• For OBC- 28
• For ESW- 10
• For SC- 18
• For ST- 6
• Total- 103 vacancy

Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive) vacancy:

• For General- 25 vacancy
• For OBC- 18
• For EWS- 6
• For SC- 13
• For ST- 7
• Total- 69 vacancy

Qualification required:

• Chargeman (Mechanic): Candidates who have the degree of Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Production Engineering are eligible to apply for the post.
• Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive): Diploma in Chemical Engineering from recognized university/institute, including 2 years of experience.

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will get the Level 6 ₹ 35400 - 112400/

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates will be based on the screening of applications and written examination.
