IGNOU Recruitment 2019: Jobs for Assistant Professor post! 60 plus can also apply; here’s how

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started its recruitment process for the post of Assistant Professor. A piece of good news is for those candidates who have attained the age of 60 and thinking to work as a teacher. IGNOU has invited application form from 60 plus age aspirants.

Therefore, candidates, who fulfilled the eligibility criteria as per University Grants Commission Regulations 2018 and also required norms of concerned Regulatory bodies like NCTE, MCI etc, can submit their application form through IGNOU’s official website.

Age Limit Required:

The upper age limit required to apply for the post is 65 years as per UGC guidelines.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to send the hard copy of the printout of application along with their self-attested copies of necessary certificates/documents via speed post to the following address:

Pay Scale:

Candidates who will be selected for the post of Assistant Professor will get the salary in the Academic Level 10 of 7th Central Pay Commission Rs. 57,700- Rs. 1,82,400, in various Schools of Studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
