ICAI CA Protest: Students ask, ‘if government can abrogate article 370, why can’t change exam rules?’

Since September 23, several CA aspirants were protesting against the Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICAI) over an alleged error in the copies evaluation process.

The protest began from out the headquarters of the ICAI CA near ITO office, Delhi, where thousands of students were raising their voices against the academic institution nationwide at roughly 178 places across the country. Also, teachers from Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, and Rajasthan have joined the protest and flown to Delhi.


The students are demanding amendments in the exam regulation to add re-checking.

According to the reports of IANS, one of the students protesting against ICAI said: “When the country can abrogate Article 370 (of the Constitution), how difficult it is to make changes in a small exam law for the benefit of the students.”

Students are claiming that the evaluation of the copies was not done properly and the students have been camping out the Institute between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. Protesters were saying that there should be a change in the regulations to allow aspirants for scrutiny of the examination.

Also, students, teacher took to Twitter to connect more and more aspirants in their protest against the ICAI.
