DU Online Admissions start: All you need to know about undergraduate programmes' admission process

Delhi University online admission process has begun from 30th May 2019. Aspirants who were waiting for the online registration can submit their application form by log onto du.ac.in.

Before applying for the admission process, each and every aspirant should know the procedure about how to apply for the admissions to undergraduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have passed Class 12 or intermediate with minimum marks required for each course.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 18 years.

Aspirant should be an Indian citizen. Also, NRI students can apply through a different admission process.

As per the official admission prospectus, candidates should score 55% aggregate marks in the subject the candidate is seeking admission to or any one of scheduled language (21 modern Indian Languages, Hindi and English) and also in the best three other academic subjects.

DU Admission Schedule

  • Undergraduate (UG) programs admissions begin: May 30, 2019
  • Post-graduate (PG) Programmes admissions begin: June 03, 2019
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law: June 03, 2019
  • M.Phil / Ph.D Programmes : June 03, 2019

Note: To conduct the counseling session, DU Help Desk will be set up in the college’s premises where candidates can ask their queries related to the admission procedure.

It is the dream of every second student who wants to study in DU colleges to complete their higher education.

Colleges in which students can opt their undergraduate courses are as follow:

St Stephens, Hindu College, Hansraj College, Shriram College of Commerce, Lady Shriram College, Miranda House, Ramjas College, Kirori Mal College, Kamala Nehru College (KNC), Gargi College, etc are affiliated to it.

Documents required during the registration process:

  • Passport size photograph
  • Scanned signature of the applicant
  • Class X Board Exam Certificate (self-attested)
  • Income certificate required (for OBC non-creamy layer), if applicable (self-attested)
  • Self-attested copy of reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PWD/KM/CW) Certificate, if applicable
  • Self-attested copy of Sports Certificate(s) for last three years, if required
  • Self-attested copy of Extra Curricular Activities Certificate(s), if required
