DRDO Recruitment 2019: New jobs released for Engineers! Salary upto Rs 80,000

The Defence Research and Development Organisation Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) has invited application forms from Engineering aspirants. Interested and eligible candidates should apply for the vacancies before August 27, 2019.

As per the notification released by the DRDO, a total of 290 vacancies have been released by the RAC. Under this recruitment drive, DRDO aims to fill a post for Scientist ‘B’, Engineer ‘B’ and Executive Engineer posts. The application process for these posts has already begun from 10th August 2019.

DRDO RAC Vacancy:

• Total number of posts – 290 vacancies
• Scientists ‘B’ in DRDO – 270 vacancies
• Executive Engineer in GATEC- 4 vacancies
• Scientists ‘B’ in DST – 6 vacancies
• Scientists/Engineer ‘B’ in ADA- 10 vacancies

Age Limit for RAC recruitment 2019

The maximum age limit required to apply for the vacancy is 28 years. While the age relaxation to reserved category will be given as per the government norms. The upper age limit for OBC candidates is 31 years while for SC/ST it is 33 years.

Eligibility Criteria for RAC recruitment 2019

• Scientist B post: Candidates should hold the first-class Master’s degree in the subject relevant to the posts which include Mathematics, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Food Science and Geology.
• For Electronics and Communication, Mechanical and Computer Science posts: Applicants should hold the degree of B.Tech with 80 percent marks from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) or Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Pay scale:

Candidates who will be selected for the positions will get the pay scale of Rs 56,100 every month.
