CTET Exam Notification 2019: CBSE releases December exam date; know important details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the examination dates for its 13th edition Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), therefore, candidates who are waiting for this CTET December exam notification can check the official dates given below.

On 16th August, CBSE has released the notification and stated that the board will conduct the CBSE CTET December 2019 exam on 8th December 2019. However, further details about the examination will be released in the upcoming week.


Once CBSE released the complete notification, the application process for the examination will also begin.

As per the CBSE, CTET exam will be held in 20 languages in 110 cities across the nation. The online registration for CTET December exam will begin on 19th August and will end on 18th September 2019. While the application fee for the exam will conclude on 23rd September 2019, till 3:30 pm.

Once the application process begins candidates will be able to submit their application form for the CTET December Exam.

Here's how to apply for CBSE CTET December Exam 2019-20:

i. Open the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.
ii. Look for the link to submit your online application form
iii. Log in yourself to submit your online form
iv. Submit all your details asked on the official page
v. Upload your documents and photo & signature in the format
vi. Submit your fees as per demanded by the Board
vii. Click OK
viii. Download your form
ix. Take a printout for future references

What is CTET?

CTET is the exam which is held every year for the selection of teacher positions or it is the minimum qualification assessment test for the posts.

CTET exam:

There will be two papers i.e. Paper 1 is for classes 1to 5 teachers while paper 2 is for elementary stage i.e. for classes 6 to 8 teachers.

Recently, CBSE has released the CTET July exam result on 30 July 2019. Over 3 lakh candidates have qualified the July examination. The validity of CTET exam certificate is for seven years.
