CBSE Class 10th Result 2020: After class 12th, Board likely to announce high school result soon; latest update

After CBSE surprisingly announced its Class 12th board exam result, Class 10th board students are also anxiously waiting for their results. Many students are thinking that just like intermediate results, the Board can also announce the result without any official notification.

Several media reports have claimed that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be going to release the result today. But, as per the latest update, CBSE will not declare the class 10th results 2020 today.

According to Hindustan Times, a CBSE spokesperson on Tuesday said that result will not out on July 14.

Therefore, class 10th students can now expect their results by tomorrow i.e. July 15.

CBSE had earlier told the Supreme Court of India that it will release board exam results for both classes 10th and 12th by July 15.

Notably, the class 12th board exam result has already been released on July 13 across the country.

Students who have appeared for the class 10th examination will be able to check their score by visiting the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in and results.nic.in

This year, around 18 lakh students had appeared for the class 10th examination.

While in class 12th, 1203595 students had registered for class 12th exam, and out of the total, only 1192961 appeared. This year, a total of 1059080 students passed the board examination.

The overall passing percentage of Class 12th is 88.78%.
