CBSE Class 10th English paper: Good news for students as Board to give 2 marks for the wrong question

CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examination has begun in India from 5 March. Recently, class 10th English exam was conducted on 12 March 2018. There was the wrong question asked in the examination due to which CBSE has announced the big news for the students for the same class.

According to the reports of TTimes Now, CBSE going to give two extra marks to the students only for those who have attempted the comprehensive passage question. As per the reports, from the third question, the Passage 2, students were asked to find out the synonym of endurance, obstruction and motivation from the paragraphs two, four and five respectively. But after seeing the question, teachers and experts found that the answer to the question was not in the passage and answer was given in paras three and six of the given passage.

After this noted mistake, teachers and students raised the issue in the notice of CBSE. The board had assured that it will look into the matter before finalizing the marks of English paper.

However, the reports are available on the social media, which suggested that CBSE has decided to give the marks to all the students who have attempted this question in the exam.
