CBSE 10th Result 2019: 97 students secure top 3 ranks; missed 1st position by point 5 per cent

The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has declared the Class 10 Result on Monday on its official websites cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. 91.1% of students passed the CBSE Class 10 examination.

Surprisingly. the first rank has been secured by 13 students with 99.9 %, who have scored 499 marks out 500 marks in their exams. Out of 13, 7 students are boys to score 499 out of 500 marks, rest 6 position has been secured by the girls.


In another surprising-cum-shocking incident, a total of 97 students have scored top three ranks with 1,2 and 3rd respectively. As 13 students have secured 1st rank with 99.99 %, 25 students have 99.6% and 59 students have scored 99.4%. With a maximum of just point 5 per cent, 84 students missed the top position. Here’s girl power! In the list of toppers, of the total 97 - 64 were girls.

Some more surprises are the way! Among 1761078 students who have appeared for Class 10th examination, 57,256 candidates have scored above 95% while 2, 25,143 students have scored above 90%. And the overall pass percentage is 4.04% higher than the previous year at 91.10%.

Overall, the pass percentage of girls students is 92.45% whereas that of boys students is 90.14%. The pass percentage for transgender candidates is 94.74%. The Class X or high school board exams were conducted from March 7 to March 27, 2019, across the country by CBSE.
