The trio - Aman Bansal, Kunal Goyal and Gaurav Didwania - all from Jaipur, has seized the first, third and ninth All India Ranks (AIRs) respectively in IIT JEE Advanced 2016 results.

Apart from the trio, there are four more students in the top 100 AIR: Sushil Khalia (AIR 48), Ashish Mittal (AIR 58), Aman Jain (AIR 59) and Yash Gupta (AIR 55). This is the first time since 2000 that a student has scored a single digit rank in Jaipur.

Talking about their JEE exam strategies, the students shared their experiences.

Bansal, a student of Cambridge Court School in Jaipur, stressed that one should take pressure positively and seek help from teachers and parents.

Goyal reportedly said he wants to study in IIT and then work in India and ensure that Information Technology spreads education to every corner of the country.

Apparently seven out of top 100 toppers are from Jaipur and were enrolled at the Allen Jaipur Centre. "We chose the best-performing 18 students from among 1,050 students at the centre, and created a dangal for them. These (top) students were made to compete with each other, support each other, and share their knowledge," Ashish Arora, the academics head at the centre told the Indian Express .

According to Arora, the regular tests kept the students on their feet as their poor performances could replace them from the remaining 1000-odd students.

As per news reports, Bhavesh Dhingra from Yamuna Nagar district in Haryana, who was ranked second, was also an Allen Chandigarh student.
