Speed News Desk | Updated on: 14 February 2017, 2:55 IST

In a shocking incident, a girl was abducted in broad daylight outside her college in Gurgaon on 28 December. The entire incident has been captured on a CCTV camera.

The video clearly shows that the car in which the girl was abducted did not have a number plate. Also, one can see her trying to escape by pushing the door open multiple times, but her captors pull her back in, shut the door, and drive off.

Some passersby tried to help the girl but the kidnappers fled before they could do anything.

The police was reportedly informed about the incident by one of the eye witnesses. The incident took place at 9:40 am in the morning and the girl's family members have not received any ransom call from the kidnappers yet.

"We are investigating the matter. We will also examine the CCTV footage," an IBN Live report quoted Gurgaon ACP Anil Kumar as saying.
