Paresh Rawal apologises after breaking Odd-Even rule in Delhi

Speed News Desk | Updated on: 25 April 2016, 16:03 IST

BJP MP and Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal on Monday apologised to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for violating the odd-even motor vehicles scheme on Monday, and said it was a "serious blunder".

"Made a serious blunder... Sorry to Arvind ji and Delhiites," Rawal tweeted, after he was fined for breaking the rule.

Rawal travelled to Parliament in his personal car with an even number plate. However, Monday being an odd number date, only vehicles with odd number plates were allowed to ply on the roads in the national capital.

The Delhi government had also announced a special DTC bus service for MPs to reach Parliament, which resumed its Budget Session from Monday.
