Delhi: Massive traffic in city as thousands join funeral procession of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh

Massive traffic prevailed in the national capital on 18 May as thousands of devotees took to streets to pay their final respects and join the funeral procession of Sant Nirankari Mission head Baba Hardev Singh who was killed in a road accident in Canada on 13 May.

The Delhi Police has also issued a traffic advisory urging people to avoid certain roads and take alternate roads.

Additionally, the Nirankari sect have made the decision to make Savinder Kaur, the widow of Baba Hardev Singh as the head of the sect.

Baba Hardev Singh was the chief priest of the Sant Nirankari Mission. He succeeded his father Satguru Sant Gurbachan Singh as the head of the mission after he was assassinate back in 1980.
