In view of the suicide of a dalit scholar in the University of Hyderabad, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being unable to protect dalits and dubbed the incident as a murder of democracy and social justice.
"Modi govt constitutionally duty bound to uplift dalits. Instead, Modi ji's ministers got five dalit students ostracised and suspended," tweeted Kejriwal.
Kejriwal further named the suicide as a murder.
