Yuzvendra Chahal breaks into ICC top-10 ODI bowlers list

After Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal is the third Indian to join the list of ICC's ODI bowling rankings. While Jasprit Bumrah is placed at number 1 in the list Kuldeep and Chahal are placed at number 3 and 8 respectively.

Chahal soared into the top 10 ODI bowlers list after a successful ODI series against West Indies, where he picked up five wickets in three matches.

Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer from the opposition camp also jumped up 22 and 31 spots respectively to take up the 25th and 26th rank.

In the team rankings, England and India, at 1 and 2 respectively, have put some daylight between them and the chasing pack - consisting New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan and Australia - that is separated by just 12 points. ODI series between Australia and South Africa, and Pakistan and New Zealand in the second week of this month could thus have a bearing on the table.
