Will PM Narendra Modi attend Harbhajan Singh-Geeta Basra wedding?

Harbhajan Singh on 10 October met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him for his marriage, scheduled on October 29.

A photo of Harbhajan shaking hands with Modi was posted on the PMO Twitter handle with a caption 'Cricketer Harbhajan Singh met PM'.

After meeting Modi, the 35-year-old Indian cricketer tweeted: "It was an honour meeting our gracious prime minister @narendramodi ji! Humble &a true visionary! Thank you for your time &kind words sir!."

Harbhajan, who was part of the Indian T20I squad that lost to South Africa, is tying the nuptial knot with long-time actor-girlfriend Geeta Basra.

The Indian off-spinner has been in a closely-guarded relationship with UK-born Basra for several years. Rumour mills have revolved all sorts of reports around the glamorous couple. Basra in fact opened up about Harbhajan only earlier in the year when she admired him for his dedication to cricket.

"He is a very strong headed person and that shows on-screen (in matches)... He got success at an early age and still he is so grounded and humble. He loves his game. I want to learn that from him," she said in June earlier this year.
