Watch: Ben Stokes and Stuart Binny in a fielding comedy that turns horror for Rajasthan Royals
Despite scoring big, Rajasthan Royals lost the match to Delhi Capitals yesterday. Few mis-field on pitch would also count in the end. Ben Stokes and Stuart Binny were involved in one such mis-field that went haywire and became a comedy of horror for Rajasthan Royals.
The incident took place in the 19th over during Jofra Archer’s spell. Rishabh Pant from Delhi Capitals was at strike when Jofra bowled a short length delivery that Pant tried to hit but couldn’t connect well and the ball fell at mid-wicket. Stuart Binny went for the ball but missed it in a weird manner another fielder Ben Stokes went for it but the ball slipped from his hand before he could throw it. He went for it again but this time he slipped because of dew.

It was a total comedy show for both Rajasthan Royals and the audience. But the match also saw some spectacular fielding as Chris Morris took a fabulous catch at the boundary rope to dismiss Steve Smith.
Ajinkya Rahane played a wonderful knock to hit his second IPL century but all his efforts went in vain as Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant spoiled Rajasthan’s party. Rishabh Pant was awarded the man of the match award for his superb 78 run knock.
Delhi Capitals won the match by 6 wickets to go on top of the points table with 14 points to their name. While Rajasthan Royals is at number seven with six points to their name from10 matches.
