The Bollywood star and Indian Skipper wife Anushka Sharma wished De Villiers a happy life in the future. Anushka Sharma sent a special message to South African legend and wrote-

In a video uploaded on his official Twitter account, the 34-year old said that he is “tired” and feels that is the right time for him to step down from the sport.
De Villiers also mention that it was an extremely tough decision for him to make, and he believes that it is the right time for other talented players to take over.
