Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar is considered as one of the best batsmen of all time. One of the greatest to have played the game, Sachin Tendulkar is many a time attributed to have made India fall in love with the sport and holds several records in international cricket. Some of his feats were touted as everlasting untill current Indian skipper Virat Kohli broke into the scene.

Virat Kohli saw an extraordinary remoulding in his career since making his debut in August 2008. the 31-year-old has been one of the most consistent performer for the national side in the past few years and has been shattering records for fun. He is the only active batsman close to breakig Sachin’s record of most ODI hundreds.

Virat Kohli has asserted his superiority as one of the greats and has time and again earned comparisons with the Master Blaster for his consistency and hunger to score runs. Not long ago, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who is a huge cricket fan, was asked to pick the better batsman between Viat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. He came up with an epic reply and stated that he would pick Sachin of the past and Virat of the present.

“This is like picking religions. I would say Sachin yesterday, Virat today,” said Nadella in a conversation with Microsoft India President Anant Maheshwari.

The Mircosoft CEO was also asked to pick between coding and cricket. To that Nadella said he would mix both and like to code for cricket. He also revealed specifics of his rendezvous with Anil Kumble.

"I would prefer coding for cricket. I met Anil Kumble yesterday. He has a startup where cricket bats are equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) sensors. Coding is one thing that I would say is a malleable, changeable resource for a great future," Nadella said.
