Video leaked: Young players spotted singing Pakistan's national anthem during a cricket match in Kashmir

In Kashmir, the poison of separatism has spread so much that the games played at the local level have not remained untouched. The police has registered a case against two cricket teams for singing Pakistan's national anthem. In Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora area, players were spotted playing in jerseys of Pakistan and before the match, teams sang Pakistan's national anthem.

The match was being played between the teams of Gondipora and Dardpora Cricket Club. According to media reports, after watching a video being viral on social media, the police filed a case against the players and arrested four out of them.


In this viral video, the players of both teams appeared to be taking part in national anthem. The players are standing in two lines, the players of one team wore green jerseys and one is in white. In the video, players have also bowed their heads while singing Pakistan’s national anthem.

Station House Officer Bandipora Gazanafar Ahmad while confirming the arrests said, “We have booked the teams under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities Act with FIR number 4/2018.” A police official said that the accused have been arrested in this case. Police is looking for organizers and other accused players.
