Every cricket fanatic in India remembers that one match in 2004 that India won in Pakistan’s Multan. Rahul Dravid was captaining India in absence of Sourav Ganguly for India’s tour of Pakistan. The match started on March 28, India won the toss and elected to bat first.

Akash Chopra and Virendra Sehwag opened for India and provided with a good start but Chopra was sent off the field by Saqlain Mushtaq for 42 runs off 121 balls. Sehwag stood strong and slammed century, double-century and yes, triple-century as well. Sehwag scored 309 runs off 375 balls he played.

Sachin Tendulkar came after Rahul Dravid was sent off the field by Mohammad Sami for just 6 runs. Sachin too slammed a century and was on his way to slam a double-ton as well, Tendulkar was on 194 not out when Dravid declared India’s innings at 675/5 and the little master was left furious.

Both Sachin and Dravid have talked about it in past and said that this things happen, players do have a difference of opinion and that doesn’t mean that everything’s not okay between them. Yes, I wasn’t happy with the decision but we eventually moved on, said Sachin.

India went on to win the match by an innings and 52 runs. After making 675 runs, India enforced follow-on and Pakistan were only able to make 407 and 216 runs in their two innings.
