This Indian cricketer reckons "MS Dhoni will not be a part of Indian squad if we have performed"
The 33-year-old Indian wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel is one of the many wicket-keepers team India utilized before Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to prominence.
Parthiv Patel has played only 25 Tests, 38 ODIs and 2 T20Is for the Indian team.
Right from Dinesh Karthik, many players spoken about MS Dhoni. Once he thought that he will retired from the cricket or give up the wicket keeping because of Dhoni in the era of cut throat competition for wicket- keeping.
The show "Breakfast with Champions" hosted Gaurav Kapur where he had little bit chat with Parthiv Patel about the reasons why he failed to registered their spot in Indian squad.
The left-hander also didn’t utter any words about Dhoni’s masterful shows that led to his elimination from the team.
As reported in CricTracker “MS Dhoni is a legend. Everyone told me that You’re born in the wrong era. But I feel that we started playing before him. So if we didn’t perform poorly Dhoni wouldn’t have played in the first place. So instead of thinking that, I think it’s us who didn’t perform to our potential. That’s why MS came.” Parthiv mentioned.
