Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the two struggling captains of the ongoing Indian Premier League. Virat has performed really well with his bat and his individual performance has been one of the best in the tournament so far. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers are the two teams that have struggled this season very much. The two were being considered one of the top contenders because of their bench strength.

Mumbai Indians, whereas, with a bunch of ace cricketers have been one of the favourites. Sadly, Mumbai have not done anything very wrong but have not been able to do enough to actually win their matches. On the other hand, the heartbreaking back to back losses must have made RCB's morale hit the ground.

Virat Kohli has been arguably the best performer in the IPL. He has played well, led his team well. He has performed consistently well while his team has been in contrast to what Virat has been doing on the ground. In terms of performance, Both RCB and Mumbai Indians have won only two of the seven matches they have played.

Both the teams happen to occupy the bottom-most spots in the points table standings. They have remained placed in the bottom half of the points table since the very start of the IPL. Now that playoffs are closing in, the chances of teams making it to the final stages are getting narrower by each passing match.
