Former India paceman S Sreesanth is back in competitive cricket after seven years. Currently, he is leading the bowling attack for his home team Kerala in the the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament.

Other than his skills with the ball, Sreesanth is also well known for his aggression and animated celebrations on the field. His old self was once again witnessed during a match against Mumbai on Thursday.

The pacer failed to take any wickets but he tried to sledge the opponent batsman during the game. It was Mumbai’s Yashasvi Jaiswal who was on Sreesanth’s radar but the latter’s move got backfired.

The vatran pacer started the over with a length delivery outside off stump and Yashasvi failed to make any contact. The pacer then tried to sledge and stare in the batsman’s eye. But, this act of mocking the batsman did not go well.

On the very next ball, Yashasvi cleared his front leg and smashed Sreesanth for a huge six. That wasn’t the end as the youngster went on to slam another six followed by a boundary in the next two deliveries.

Yashavi Jaiswal played a 40-run knock while some major contributions from Suryakumar Yadav (38) and Aditya tare (42) took Mumbai to 196 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs.
