Shahid Afridi responds to Gautam Gambhir's 'psychiatrist' remark, says 'He has a mental problem'

Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi had a verbal fight on the cricket ground in 2007 but after Afridi's revelations in his biography the things have come out once again. Afridi in his biography 'Game Changer' sarcastically referred Gautam Gambhir as someone who "behaves like a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond." He also targetted him by writing, he has "lot of attitude and no great records".

Well, Gautam Gambhir responded to his remarks on his book and tweeted tagging Afridi, "...you are a hilarious man!!! Anyway, we are still granting visas to Pakistanis for medical tourism. I will personally take you to a psychiatrist,"

 

This was really something that made Afridi to comment back and Afridi was ready to reply said at the official launch of the book. He said, "He (Gambhir) has a mental problem and if he wants I can get him treated at my hospital,"

He even said if Gambhir faces any visa problem he will help him out to get the visa quickly. "If he faces any visa problem I will get it processed quickly for him," Afridi said.

Let us tell you that in his book Afridi talking about his rivalry with Gautam Gambhir wrote, "Some rivalries were personal, some professional. First the curious case of Gambhir. Oh poor Gautam. He & his attitude problem. He who has no personality. He who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He who has no great records just a lot of attitude,"

Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi had an angry bust-up during a bilateral ODI series in Kanpur match 2007. Whether Shahid Afridi has written that the incident took place in Asia Cup game.
