Indian run machine Virat Kohli, who is seen as the best batsman of modern cricket, is not having a good time in Test cricket. The Indian skipper has only knocked 210 runs in four Test games at an average of 35 runs per innings.

Virat Kohli was dismissed in the first Test by South Africa’s spin wizkid Senuran Muthusamy whose delivery changed its trajectory after pitching and had Virat Kohli knock it back to the bowler.

During the net session on Monday, he was having a tough time facing similar type of delivery. Trying to play a cut shot of straight length ball delivered by Ravindra Jadeja, Virat kohli was completely deceived. Unable to judge the bounce and the length, he had his wicket clattered in a shameful way.

Training hard in the nets before the second Test in Pune, the Indian captain will look to wrap up the series. India leads the series 1-0 and are also the table toppers with 180 points in ICC World Test Chapionship points table.

The skipper also stated that Ravichandran Ashwin and Jadeja are India’s first choice spinners.

"Ashwin and Jadeja will be our first choices because they give us so much more with the bat as well," said Kohli.
